There is currently no drought declared in Tasmania, however, the following resources were compiled during the previous Exceptional Circumstances and may be of some use for farmers for general information.

Call Tasmanian Poisons Information Service on 131 126 (24 hours a day/7 days a week) for information on acute poisoning (accidental or otherwise), bites and stings.

Rural Alive and Well Inc (RAW)

Rural Alive and Well Inc is a not for profit organsiation delivering suicide prevention and community wellbeing services to the Central Highlands, Glamorgan-Spring Bay and Southern Midlands Municipalities in Tasmania.

Spray information and incidents

St John ambulance

St John Ambulance Australia is a self-funding charitable organisation active in all States and Territories, dedicated to helping people in sickness, distress, suffering or danger.

State Emergency Service Tasmania

The SES provides a volunteer response capability for severe storms and floods, road crash rescue, search and rescue/recovery and a range of other general rescue and community support roles.

Tasmania Police
