See the FarmPoint Computer and Training Program to access customised computer training for your business in your regional area along with receiving an ex-departmental computer.

If you are over 25, did not complete year 12 and have no formal qualifications above Certificate 1, you may be eligible of up to $3000 to complete a Certificate 2 under the Skills Vouchers Program.

Many of the training programs attract a FarmBis subsidy for eligible Tasmanian primary producers.

2008 Nuffield Scholarships

2008 Scholarships for Australian Primary Producers opened on 1 April. Nuffield Australia, through its farming Scholars program, encourages Australian Primary Producers to adopt local and international best practice so that excellence in all aspects of Australian agricultural production, distribution and management is achieved.

Employment & recruitment

DairyTas

DairyTas is the Tasmanian service delivery arm of Dairy Australia. Investing farmer levies and other funds to support the Tasmanian Dairy Industry. DairyTas' main aim is to identify, prioritise, promote, facilitate and leverage opportunities for research, development and extension activities in the Tasmanian dairy industry which will assist dairy farmers to manage change.
