As part of a genuine committment to give regional women and business an equal opportunity to be part of the national Australian Women & Leadership Forum (AWLF) movement, the Workplace Training Advisory of Australia has agreed to supplement a limited number of seats at the 2008 Women's Leadership Symposiums to be held in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane. The annual symposiums for the heart of the AWLF campaign and are widely acknowledged as pivotal within the area of diversity, gender dynamics and leadership. Annual they attract over 100 senior female executives from many of Australia's leading organisations.
The Regional Access Grant is designed to make the symposiums more accessible to regional women and the economically diverse organisations they represent, and is backed whole heartedly by AWLF CEO Helen Kemp.
