A communications campaign to promote Tassie vegetables to the nation has been developed in tandem with a Marketing Plan for the industry.
The Campaign will run from March 2008 through to June 2009 and will feature a full suite of advertisements in both magazine and newspaper on the mainland and in Tasmania. The campaign aims to increase the sales of Tasmanian vegetable products by building on the already accepted premise that Tasmania produces very high quality food. The tagline and Campaign logo 'Tassie Vegetables - Taste is in our Nature' is a strong statement that supports these claims.
The Campaign logo that will help consumers locate and identify Tasmanian product in their local supermarket or grocery store. As the campaign moves forward, more and more product will carry the new logo, making identifying Tassie product that much easier. The logo will be integrated into existing packaging in many different forms such as stickers, banners, ties and tape, depending on the needs of each product.
The use of this logo on Tasmanian vegetables products is free, however, it is copyrighted to the Tasmanian Government and permission is required for its use. There are also funding opportunities to assist companies with the costs of artwork changes when adding the logo to existing packaging.
