Applications for the Biochar Capacity Building Program are now open, as part of the Australian Government's Carbon Farming Initiative (CFI).
The CFI is designed to help farmers, forest growers and land managers to earn income, while reducing emissions of greenhouse gases such as nitrous oxide and methane, through changes to agricultural and land management practices. The production and use of biochar is one of these management practices.
