  2. Mapping functions, including measuring distance/area, adding paddocks, gates, dams, fences, and printing a property map.
  3. Recording farm management information, including paddock history, fence details, etc.

How can I get MyFarm?

MyFarm is currently under development.  A prototype version was demonstrated at Agfest this year, and received quite a lot of interest.  The FarmPoint Project is now refining MyFarm to incorporate the feedback and suggestions gathered, with an expected release in early 2009.

Any Tasmanian farmers* interested in trialling MyFarm in late 2008, please fill out an Expressions of Interest , contact us by either email on farmpoint.enquiries@dpiw.tas.gov.au or by phoning 1300 368 550. Forms will be forwarded later in the year to those who express interest to gather information on their property to ensure the trial covers a number of agricultural sectors.

* Tasmanian farmers are classified as those earning a majority of their income from and contributing a majority of their labour to a primary production enterprise.
